Blog Entry: Just wanted to say thanks for having me on your site and intoduce myself.
I'm Mat Nichol and I'm originally from Manchester and now live in Hamburg. I've had a long interest in acting but haven't had the opportunity do to anything until now.
I signed up to a method acting class in Hamburg with absolutely no expectations. I now find myself cast as The Archbishop of Canterbury in Richard III and playing a police chief in a short film in February.
I also attended an open casting for extras for a Viking movie being filmed in Northern Germany called Last Battle Dreamer. Whilst standing in line, being measured and filling in forms, the casting agent noticed I had some training and was English and asked if I was interested in acting. Obviously I said yes and I ended up with a casting for the main CD, John Hubbard. Not sure if I'll get anything in this one, but always nice for a top CD to see your work.
