My name is Lucy Drury; I’m 21 years old, and a 2:1 graduate of French with Film/Radio/Television Studies. Having finished my degree, I have started my career in the world of Film and Television.
I’m willing to start at the bottom and work my way up, to prove that I would be a good asset to your team. I know that the world of production is where I belong, and I will work to reach my goal, no matter what hurdles I face!
I have worked on both short and feature films as a Production Assistant, Script Supervisor and 2nd AD, and I am looking to continue down the AD route!
From a geeky teenager to a lowly student, I have always had a passion for the media and how it works, whether it be behind the scenes, in production, in front of a camera, advertising, or PR work… you name it, I’m interested in it!
I’ve had a lot of experience working in different areas of the media, including positions on radio stations, in film, and within a television environment. It is experiences like these which have given me a taste for the world of production.
My experience with media work has given me many exciting opportunities, such as interviews with people who I admire and respect, the most recent being an interview with my favourite French author, Marc Levy. When interviewing people, you need to be friendly and approachable, and I feel that I have those qualities, which can also be applied to the world of work.
I love a challenge. If I start, I finish. I love people. I’m a perfectionist. I have an over active imagination, and most of all I’m different!
